Roles we fill for Greek hotels
Built around the island calendar
The season on Crete, Rhodes and Kos often starts in April; smaller Cycladic properties open in May. Recall approvals take time, so we start shortlisting in the autumn before. You interview in winter, file in time, and the team arrives for pre-opening training.
Hotels that keep staff for the full year, especially in Athens and Thessaloniki, can use the standard employment route instead of the seasonal one.
How we test hospitality candidates
- Recorded practical test: room set-up or kitchen prep
- Hygiene and food-safety basics
- Spoken English check on video
- Previous hotel references, often from the Gulf
- Medical fitness and clean police record
- Briefing on Greek working hours and accommodation
Accommodation and meals
Most island hotels provide staff housing and meals; tell us what you offer and we include it in the job offer so there are no surprises at arrival. If you need shared housing found nearby, say so in your request.
