The Role

Industrial TIG/GTAW Pipe Welder in Italy.

Pipe welding using the GTAW/TIG (Process 141) method on carbon steel, stainless steel (AISI 304/304L, 316/316L) and chromium-molybdenum alloy steels (ASTM A335 Grade P22 and P91), producing complete weld joints — root pass, filling passes and final cap — including in the 6G/HL045 position.

Openings: 8 · Contract: 1 year, 1-month probation · Hours: 8 hours / day, 5 days a week.

Important: Selection includes a practical trade test held in Pakistan in the presence of the Italian employer. Only candidates who are available in Pakistan to attend this in-person test will be considered — this round is not open to candidates currently abroad.

Requirements

Who we need.

Minimum 4 years' documented experience in TIG/GTAW pipe welding
Correct reading and application of WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications)
Proper management of shielding gas and purging/backing gas
Control of preheating and interpass temperatures, particularly for P22 and P91 materials
Correct selection and use of filler materials
Ability to produce welds suitable for VT, PT, RT and UT inspection
Welding qualification in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9606-1 and/or ASME Section IX
Able to complete a practical welding test as part of selection
Valid Pakistani passport
Must be available in Pakistan for the in-person trade test conducted in the presence of the Italian employer — candidates based abroad cannot be considered for this test round

This TIG/GTAW pipe welding opening is part of a live batch of 25 industrial trade positions from an Italian industrial engineering and construction employer, covering welders, pipe fitters, structural steel fabricators, electricians and instrumentation technicians. Selection runs through a practical welding test held in Pakistan in the presence of the Italian employer, so only candidates who can attend in person are considered — this is not a remote or video-based selection.
