The Role

Industrial Pipe Fitter in Italy.

Fabrication and installation of industrial piping systems — reading and interpreting piping isometric drawings, dimensional field measurement, pipe marking/preparation, fit-up and alignment of joints prior to welding, correct installation and orientation of elbows, tees, reducers, flanges and other fittings, and preparation and assembly of piping spools.

Openings: 8 · Contract: 1 year, 1-month probation · Hours: 8 hours / day, 5 days a week.

Important: Selection includes a practical trade test held in Pakistan in the presence of the Italian employer. Only candidates who are available in Pakistan to attend this in-person test will be considered — this round is not open to candidates currently abroad.

Requirements

Who we need.

Minimum 4 years' documented experience as an industrial pipe fitter
Ability to read and interpret piping isometric drawings
Ability to carry out dimensional field measurements
Pipe marking, measurement and preparation skills
Verification of dimensions, slopes, alignments and dimensional tolerances
Ability to use measuring instruments and standard workshop/site tools and equipment
Working knowledge of materials commonly used in industrial piping systems
Able to complete a practical test covering isometric drawing interpretation, field measurement and spool assembly
Valid Pakistani passport
Must be available in Pakistan for the in-person trade test conducted in the presence of the Italian employer — candidates based abroad cannot be considered for this test round
