Our works council has to approve new tools. Does that affect a Pakistan hire?

Co-determination rights concern your employees in Germany. If the tools your Pakistan colleagues use, such as ticketing, time tracking or monitoring, also apply to German staff, your works council may need to be involved as usual. We document exactly what is recorded about RRI employees so that discussion is straightforward.

Is this a way around false self-employment rules?

No, and it does not need to be. Scheinselbständigkeit is a German test for people working in Germany. Your Pakistan team are genuine employees of RRI under Pakistani law, with contracts, tax and social security, which is the opposite of disguised freelancing.

How is VAT handled?

RRI invoices from Pakistan to your German business. Your Steuerberater will normally treat it under the reverse-charge rules for services received from abroad.

Do your engineers work to German standards?

We recruit CAD, BIM, mechanical and software engineers and onboard them to your DIN- or Eurocode-based drawing standards, templates and review process before live work.

What hours will they work?

Your Kernarbeitszeit. Pakistan is four hours ahead of Germany in winter and three in summer, so a 12 or 1pm start in Lahore matches your 9am.

Can you invoice in euros with German-style documentation?

Yes. EUR invoices with your purchase order number, cost centre and a per-employee breakdown that your accounts team can post directly.
