FAQ

Employer of Record in Pakistan: questions from French companies.

Is this the same as portage salarial?

Similar in spirit, different in law. In portage salarial a French company employs an independent professional. Here RRI employs your team member in Pakistan under Pakistani law, and your company directs the work under a service agreement.

Can staff work in French?

The working language is English. Some candidates speak French, and we test it when the role needs it, but we will tell you honestly when a role really needs native French and should stay in France.

How is TVA handled?

RRI invoices your French business from Pakistan; your expert-comptable will normally apply autoliquidation (reverse charge).

What do you provide for the RGPD?

Article 28 processing terms, support for the standard contractual clauses required for a transfer to Pakistan, and a safeguards description for your DPO and your register of processing activities.

How many hours overlap with Paris?

A full working day. Pakistan is four hours ahead of Paris in winter and three in summer.
