End-to-end European healthcare placement for Pakistani students — Bachelor's and Master's in Nursing and Physiotherapy at an accredited college in Belgrade, Serbia. Taught entirely in English. Aligned with EU Directive 2005/36 for cross-border nursing recognition. A dedicated practice within Renaissance Recruitment Inc.
The European healthcare academic year begins in October, with international student intake typically commencing in late November. Entrance examinations run weekly on Tuesdays from May through January, subject to remaining capacity. Planning backwards from the intended intake — typically six to eight months ahead — is the single most important discipline for a successful application and visa.
Our practice is open Monday to Saturday in Lahore and operates year-round so that families can begin a profile assessment at any time and build to the right intake window.
Not marketing slogans — the actual, structural reasons Pakistani families should consider a European healthcare qualification over alternative destinations.
The programme is aligned with European Directive 2005/36/EC — the framework that governs healthcare qualification recognition across the European Union. Graduates can apply for nursing registration with national regulators in Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland, Austria and beyond.
The total tuition and living cost for a three-year European healthcare degree is a fraction of comparable programmes in the UK, Canada or Australia. Tuition is payable in installments through the academic year, easing the funding burden on Pakistani families.
All lectures, materials, examinations and clinical instruction are delivered in English. Pakistani candidates from English-medium secondary schools — Federal Board, Cambridge, Aga Khan Board and most private schools — can apply with a Medium-of-Instruction certificate in lieu of IELTS, saving time and cost.
The programme places strong emphasis on practical clinical rotations across leading hospitals and partner healthcare institutions. Graduates leave with genuine bedside experience — not just theoretical knowledge.
The institution holds the European Commission's Charter for Higher Education through the Erasmus+ programme. Students may spend a semester studying at a partner university elsewhere in Europe, building both CV and professional network for graduate employment.
Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland and Austria continue to face long-term shortages of registered nurses, with active recruitment programmes for internationally qualified nursing graduates. A European nursing qualification opens doors that a Pakistani BSN alone cannot.
All programmes are taught in English at an accredited college in Belgrade, Serbia. Each programme leads to an EU-credit-bearing qualification.
A three-year, 180-ECTS programme designed for cross-border professional mobility within the European Union and beyond. Graduates earn the Bachelor (Appl.) in Nursing.
A three-year, 180-ECTS programme combining academic study with practical training across orthopaedic, neurological and sports physiotherapy disciplines. Suitable for F.Sc Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering and ICS graduates from Pakistan.
A two-year, 120-ECTS programme for holders of a Bachelor's qualification in Nursing or a closely related field. Designed for advanced clinical or managerial roles in European healthcare systems. A strong option for Pakistani BSN holders.
The institution welcomes applications from a broad range of Pakistani educational backgrounds. The non-negotiable requirement is full completion of secondary education equivalent to twelve years of schooling.
Applicants must have completed both Matric (SSC) and Intermediate (HSSC). The full document set required for Serbian recognition is:
All academic documents must be processed through Board verification, IBCC attestation, and MOFA Apostille — the Apostille is mandatory for Serbia.
Applicants from the Cambridge / Edexcel system follow a slightly different pathway:
The IBCC equivalence certificates are mandatory. The Serbian Qualifications Agency assesses Pakistani secondary education on the basis of the IBCC equivalence framework.
The application stage runs before the visa stage. The institution accepts all application documents electronically — physical originals are required only upon arrival in Belgrade.
Completed application form submitted directly to the institution through its official channel. Clear scan of the passport photo page — passport must have at least one year of validity beyond intended intake date.
Matric and Intermediate certificates plus Detailed Marks Certificates for each academic year. Documents must be processed through IBCC and MOFA Apostille before submission. Scanned copies are accepted at application stage; originals only on arrival.
The institution administers an internal entrance exam in Basics of Nursing — a 30-question multiple-choice assessment drawn from a 200-question workbook with answer keys provided. The exam is held online; pass mark is 20 per cent.
IELTS, TOEFL, CAE or equivalent at CEFR Level B. Alternatively, a written confirmation from the candidate's secondary school that English was the medium of instruction is accepted. An internal online English assessment is offered for candidates without other evidence.
Recommended but not strictly mandatory. A clear personal statement explaining the candidate's interest in healthcare and choice of programme strengthens the application — particularly for candidates from non-medical secondary streams.
Once the institution has issued the Attendance Certificate (invitation letter), the D-type student visa application is submitted at the Serbian Embassy in Baku, Azerbaijan — the recommended diplomatic mission for Pakistani applicants given the absence of a Serbian embassy in Pakistan.
The Attendance Certificate confirms admission and payment of the first tuition installment. Every detail — name, passport number, course title, dates — is cross-checked against the visa application. Renaissance verifies this letter before submission.
Originals attested through Board verification, IBCC attestation and MOFA Apostille. The Apostille is mandatory for Serbia — regular MOFA attestation is not sufficient. We manage this chain end-to-end through our Lahore office.
Recent bank statement evidencing sufficient funds to cover one year of tuition and living costs. Where a parent or guardian sponsors, an affidavit of sponsorship on judicial stamp paper plus the sponsor's bank documentation is submitted.
International student travel and health insurance valid in Serbia for the duration of intended stay. The institution can recommend Serbian-issued policies for students who prefer to arrange this after arrival.
Pakistanis can obtain an Azerbaijan e-visa in three working days. Direct flights from Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi to Baku take 3.5 hours. Renaissance coordinates the entire Baku trip — flights, hotel, embassy appointment and documentation.
Submitted in person at the Serbian Embassy, Icheri Sheher, Baku. Renaissance prepares the application bundle in Lahore so the student arrives in Baku with a complete, organised file. Standard D-visa processing takes around eight weeks.
A genuine European healthcare placement is a four to six month project. Here is how we run it from start to finish.
Senior counsellor meeting at our Lahore office or by video call. We review academic record, subject background, target intake, budget and career objective — and produce a written honest assessment of fit for the programme.
Renaissance manages the full attestation chain in Pakistan: Board verification, IBCC attestation and MOFA Apostille on all academic and personal documents. Typical processing time is two to three weeks.
Application submission, workbook delivery, and coordination of the online entrance exam (every Tuesday, 10:00 CET). Results are issued within 24 hours.
Documents are submitted to the Serbian Qualifications Agency for academic recognition. The institution administers this on the candidate's behalf, with translations completed by their sworn court translator partner in Belgrade.
First tuition installment and enrollment fee are paid directly to the institution's bank account. The institution then issues the Attendance Certificate — the official invitation letter that is the basis of the visa application.
Renaissance arranges the Azerbaijan e-visa, books flights and hotel in Baku, schedules the Serbian Embassy appointment, and assembles the full visa file. The candidate travels to Baku with a complete pre-departure bundle.
On visa approval, Renaissance books the flight Lahore → Belgrade (typically via Istanbul or Doha). On refusal, refundable tuition payments are recovered from the institution under their published refund policy.
Structured pre-departure session in Lahore covering Belgrade arrival procedures, the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) buddy programme, accommodation, residence permit registration, and the academic calendar. Parents attend with the student.
Renaissance remains contactable during the critical first ninety days. Enrolment issues, residence permit paperwork, banking, accommodation — the Lahore office does not disappear after the visa stamp.
Throughout the three-year programme, we maintain contact with our placed students — for Erasmus+ exchange opportunities, internship guidance, and eventual graduate employment placement across the European Union.
A European nursing qualification opens employment pathways across the European Union and the European Economic Area. The European nursing labour market remains structurally short-staffed, with several member states operating active international recruitment programmes for qualified nurses.
Germany faces a long-running shortage of registered nurses (Pflegefachkraft). The German Federal Employment Agency and several Länder operate structured recognition pathways for EU-aligned nursing degrees. German language proficiency at B2 is typically required for clinical practice.
The Dutch BIG register accepts EU-aligned nursing qualifications subject to Dutch language proficiency (B2) and a competence assessment. Several Dutch hospitals run dedicated international recruitment programmes.
Ireland's Nursing and Midwifery Board (NMBI) and the UK's Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) operate registration pathways for internationally qualified nurses. English language proficiency (IELTS or OET) at the prescribed level is required, plus a competence assessment.
Austrian, Swiss and Nordic healthcare systems also recruit internationally qualified nurses, subject to local language proficiency and competence assessment. Compensation in these markets is among the highest in Europe for the nursing profession.
We have been handling visa applications, embassy submissions, document attestation and pre-departure logistics since 2007 under OEP License No. 2868/RWP. The institutional discipline that makes our manpower deployment reliable makes our student consultancy reliable. We are not a rebranded travel agent.
Every institution we work with is officially accredited by the relevant national accreditation body and licensed by the relevant Ministry of Education. We do not promote dubious colleges or providers with questionable licensing history.
Our consultancy fee is disclosed in writing at the first meeting. We do not inflate tuition invoices or add hidden margins. Tuition and institutional fees are paid by the family directly to the institution's published bank account — we do not handle institutional money.
Not every profile matches every programme. We will tell a family when a particular candidate is unrealistic, when document strengthening is needed, or when a deferral to the next intake is the right strategy. Consultants who say "yes, no problem" to everything are not doing the family a favour when the refusal email arrives.
Parents can visit the office, meet the counsellor, review documents physically and ask questions face to face. This matters for a decision of this expense and significance — and it means there is a real person and a real place if anything needs to be chased down later.
Book a free initial profile assessment. We will give you an honest view of fit, eligibility, total programme cost and realistic timeline based on your academic record and career goal.
