Why peak staffing is so difficult
Every fulfilment centre, parcel hub and online retailer in Poland needs extra hands in the same few weeks. The local temp pool is stretched, people hop between sites for a few groszy more per hour, and many leave before the peak is over.
When to place the order
Start planning the peak in summer. A first group from Pakistan needs time for permits and visas, so the sooner you order, the more of the season the team covers.
Working out headcount
Build the number from your forecast rather than copying last year:
- Start with forecast units per day at the peak
- Divide by realistic pick and pack rates per hour
- Add a buffer for absence and training time
- Split the total across pickers, packers, loaders and returns
Getting new workers productive
Send your SOPs before the team travels so everyone is briefed on scanners and packing standards. Pair newcomers with experienced staff for their first shifts and agree a two-week ramp-up.
Once the peak is over
Keep part of the team for January returns and release the rest. Without a minimum term, scaling down carries no penalty.
You plan the work. RRI covers everything around it. Order Pakistani warehouse and general workers on demand: see how it works or send your order.
Questions employers ask
Can we keep some of the team after the peak?
Yes. Keep as many people as you need for returns or regular volume; no minimum term applies either way.
Do they know scanners and voice picking?
Many have worked in warehouses before. Every worker is briefed on your system before arrival, and we agree a ramp-up plan with you.
