Construction Helper / Mason / Steel Fixer in Croatia (Građevinski radnik / Zidar / Armirač).

General construction helper, masonry (bricklaying, blockwork) or steel fixing (rebar) work on residential and infrastructure projects. This role is based in Croatia on an employer-sponsored stay-and-work permit, deployed from Pakistan through a BEOE-licensed process.

Salary: Tell us your budget — we'll arrange the right manpower. With free food and accommodation. Trade-tested masons and steel fixers earn toward the higher figures.

Requirements

Who we need.

Experience as a Construction Helper, Mason, or Steel Fixer (or related trade)
Valid Pakistani passport (min. 18 months validity)
Form 18a — Certificate of Health Status and Vaccination History, completed by a licensed physician in Pakistan (90-day validity; X-ray/stool culture 3-month validity)
Police clearance / character certificate
Willing to relocate under an employer-sponsored work and residence permit
Trade certification (NAVTTC or equivalent) an advantage for mason/steel fixer roles

Construction remains one of Croatia's most persistent foreign-labour categories, driven by residential, tourism-infrastructure and public works projects across the coast and inland cities. Employers request a labour market test (test tržišta rada) through HZZ before sponsoring, then apply for the stay-and-work permit with Form 17a (employer accommodation declaration) and your Form 18a health certificate, completed in Pakistan before travel. Realistic timeline from offer to site is typically 10–14 weeks once documentation, the labour market test and medical clearance are confirmed.
