Why Turkish workshops are hiring auto body staff from Pakistan

Turkey's vehicle fleet and dealership/workshop network have grown faster than the domestic pool of trained body-shop staff. Auto body shops, dealership service centres and fleet-repair workshops across Turkey are short on workers who can deliver a clean spray-paint finish or straighten a panel without repainting it — two very different but equally in-demand skills. That gap is why Renaissance Recruitment Inc. is placing Pakistani Auto Painters and Auto Denters directly with Turkish employers on employer-sponsored work permits.

Auto Painter vs. Auto Denter — what's the actual difference

An Auto Painter works in the spray booth: masking panels, mixing paint to the exact factory colour code, spray-gun application of primer and base coat, then clear coat and final buffing/polishing to a factory-match finish.

An Auto Denter — formally, a Bodywork Technician / Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) specialist — removes dents and restores panel shape without necessarily touching the paint. This covers traditional panel-beating and body alignment, plus PDR using glue-pulling kits and dent rods on panels where the original paint is still intact. Employers usually need both skill sets in the same workshop, which is why we recruit for the two roles side by side.

Salary and what's actually included

Both roles currently pay USD 750 per month, with the following provided directly by the employer at no cost to the worker: free food, free accommodation, medical cover, and company transportation to and from the workshop. Renaissance Recruitment Inc. does not charge candidates any fee beyond what BEOE permits — there are no hidden or illegal recruitment charges.

Why we now ask for 3 years' experience and a work video

Turkish employers hiring from overseas can't invite a candidate in for a trial shift before the work permit is filed — by the time a worker lands in Turkey, the employer has already committed to the placement. To protect both sides from a bad match, we now require a minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in the relevant trade, plus a short work video showing the candidate actually doing the job.

The video doesn't need to be professionally shot — a WhatsApp video, or a link to a Google Drive or YouTube upload, is fine. For an Auto Painter, that means footage of actual spray-painting or panel-prep work. For an Auto Denter, footage of dent-pulling, panel-beating or PDR work. This single step has meaningfully cut down on mismatched placements industry-wide, and Turkish employers now expect it as standard.

The Turkey work-permit process, step by step

Once a candidate is shortlisted, the Turkish employer files the work permit application through the e-Devlet portal (Ministry of Labour and Social Security). In parallel, Renaissance Recruitment Inc. prepares the candidate-side documents from Pakistan — medical fitness certificate and police clearance — so the two tracks run simultaneously rather than back to back. A realistic timeline from offer to deployment is 7–9 weeks once the full document chain is confirmed on both sides.

Because permit processing is employer-driven and takes real weeks to clear, we can currently only process candidates who are already in Pakistan and immediately available — candidates already working abroad are not being considered for these two openings.
