Placing, compacting, levelling and finishing concrete on residential, commercial and infrastructure projects — batching/handling concrete on site, vibrating and compacting pours, screeding and float-finishing slabs, and basic curing practice.
Experience: Minimum 4 years in the trade · Priority: candidates with Middle East (GCC) site experience.
This Concrete Worker opening is one of four skilled construction-trade positions currently open for Croatia (Steel Fixer, Shuttering Carpenter, Concrete Worker and Mason), sourced for a Croatian construction client. Candidates with prior Middle East (GCC) site experience in concrete placement and finishing are given priority in shortlisting. Selection runs through a practical trade test held in Pakistan in the presence of the Croatian client, so only candidates who can attend in person are considered — this is not a remote or video-based selection. Croatian employers request a labour market test (test tržišta rada) through HZZ before sponsoring, then apply for the stay-and-work permit with Form 17a (employer accommodation declaration) and the candidate's Form 18a health certificate, completed in Pakistan before travel. Realistic timeline from offer to site is typically 10–14 weeks once documentation, the labour market test and medical clearance are confirmed.
